Recommend someone who can lead your school board to success
Community members often feel they don't have the qualifications to serve on a board of education. Many board members said they only considered running for a board seat after someone asked them to run.
By recommending a member of your community, you're simply inviting them to consider it.
Complete the form below and OSBA will send your nominee an email with a message to encourage them to run for a seat on their local school board. If they are interested in learning more, they will receive access to:
resources on running for a board of education;
how-to's to help them start their candidate campaign;
information on candidate training sessions;
emails on upcoming deadlines.
Please note: Anyone interested in running for an elected seat on their board of education MUST file a candidate petition with their county board of elections by 4 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2023. Completing the form below DOES NOT fulfill the requirement to file a candidate petition with the county board of elections.
